The Fit to Fly test is a Polymerise Chain Reaction (PCR) test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 PCR antigen test. Several countries have mandated Covid-19 PCR test at least 72 hours before travel for international flights, while several others have mandated self-certification by travellers that they are Covid negative. The Fit to Fly test when produced prior to your flight, or at the Port of Entry (destination) allows you to travel or even be exempted from quarantine upon entering a country in certain cases.

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 coronavirus, such as:
A new, continuous cough – This is worse than normal cough. If you are coughing a lot more than usual every hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours
Fever, Fatigue, Shortness of breath, Loss of sense of taste or smell
if you have been in contact with someone who has been infected or if you have recently been in a country with a high incidence of COVID-19, You can take a test to determine if you have been infected.
You may also need COVID-19 PCR test results produced within 48-72 hours before air travel.
We’ll send the Covid-19 PCR home sample collection kit out to you in the post. You will have to collect the sample and return it in the post-paid envelope provided. The results will be with you in 2-3 days.

Abbotts antibody test has a 100% detection rate if taken 14 days from the initial exposer to the infection. It looks for antibodies from COVID 19 virus. If your result is negative then you have not had the virus or you have not waited at least 14 days post symptoms.
