  • How does the Fit to Fly test work

    The Fit to Fly test is a Polymerise Chain Reaction (PCR) test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 PCR antigen test).
    Several countries have mandated Covid-19 RT-PCR or Antigen test at least 72 hours before travel for international flights, while several others have mandated self-certification by travellers that they are Covid negative. The Fit to Fly test when produced prior to your flight, or at the Port of Entry (destination) allows you to travel or even be exempted from quarantine upon entering a country in certain cases.

  • What is the fastest way of getting the PCR report

    Log on to our website and schedule an appointment at our clinic that is nearest to you and book an appointment for CORONAVIRUS RT-PCR URGENT TEST (Travel Test). Please ensure you keep at least a 48-hour window before your travel.

  • How will I get my report?

    Your report will be emailed to you, please ensure that you provide the correct details when booking your appointment.

  • How much time does a RT-PCR test take?

    The appointment itself takes less than 10 minutes. The results become depending on the test chosen:

    • Normal RT-PCR test becomes available 24 hours from the time of your appointment;
    • Urgent RT-PCR test becomes available on the same day before midnight.

    We would recommend however, that you visit the Government website and book your appointment according to the current regulations.

  • What documents will I receive to prove that I am Covid-19 PCR negative?

    You will receive a certificate with our letterhead, confirming your details (introduced whilst making the booking), along with the date and place the test was conduct, the results and a laboratory a report. This will assist to certify that you were found to be Covid negative by our Antigen or RT-PCR test.

  • Can I come to your clinic?

    Yes you can come to the clinic, if your appointment is booked beforehand and you DO NOT have current covid-19 symptoms.

  • Why would I need a COVID-19 test?

    You would need a covid test if:

    • You are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 coronavirus, such as:
      a) A new, continuous cough – This is worse than a normal cough. If you are coughing a lot more than usual or have constant episodes within a 24-hour period;
      b) Fever, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of sense of taste or smell;
      Or
      c) if you have been in contact with someone who has been infected or if you have recently been in a country with a high incidence of COVID-19, you can take a test to determine if you have been infected.
    • If you are traveling.
  • How do I get the results and how will I be notified?

    You will receive an email notification when the laboratory has produced the results.

  • Will the Coronavirus test tell me whether I have been previously infected or if I have developed an immune response?

    COVID-19 Antibody test identifies the body’s response to coronavirus after the onset of infection. You should choose this test if you wish to check if you have been previously infected, as it will tell you whether your immune system has produced antibodies in response to Covid-19.

  • Are the Coronavirus antibody tests accurate?

    Antibody test has a 100% detection rate if taken 14 days from the initial exposer to the infection. It looks for antibodies from COVID-19 virus. If your result is negative, then you do not have the virus, or you have not waited 14 days.

  • What should I do if tested positive in test?

    If your RT-PCR/Antigen test comes back as positive, you must immediately self-isolate to prevent spreading the virus to others. If you have any health conditions, please Contact NHS 111 – they will provide advice and next steps.

  • What is the difference between a RT-PCR test and Antigen test?

    The Antigen test looks for specific proteins on the surface of the virus, which is why the results come back quicker than the RT-PCR test.
    The RT-PCR test tests your DNA for any traces of the virus by detecting the viral genetic material. PCR is considered as a Gold Standard test.

  • How are the tests administered?

    For the RT-PCR and Antigen test: we take a nose and a throat swab to ensure accurate results.
    For the Antibody test: we take a blood sample.

  • What is the purpose of the Antibody blood test?

    The Antibody test detects if you have any antibodies in your body (IGG). It cannot be used for the purposes of travel as it cannot detect a current infection, which is why most countries do not accept it as a valid test to travel. Some countries like China, require you to produce an Antibody IGM test results (that suggested current status of infection via blood samples), alongside with the RT-PCR.

  • Are Coronavirus Antibody tests accurate?

    Antibody test has a 100% detection rate if taken 14 days from the initial exposer to the infection. It looks for antibodies from COVID-19 virus. If your result is negative then you do not have the virus or you have not waited 14 days.

  • What is Test to Release?

    Test to Release is a scheme introduced by the government to lessen self-isolation periods after you have returned from travel. After completing 5 days of isolation, you can take this test.

  • What is the day 2 and day 8 testing scheme?

    This is another scheme introduced by the government, where people must get tested on the day 2 and day 8 of their arrival from a foreign country. We do provide Day 2 and Day 8 testing.

  • How can I book an appointment?

  • How can I cancel or change an appointment?

  • What is the cost of the test?

    We charge the following amount for our tests:

    • RT-PCR 24hrs (Travel Test) – £149;
    • RT-PCR Urgent (Travel Test) – £199;
    • RT-PCR Test to release 24hrs – £149;
    • RT-PCR Test to release Urgent – £199;
    • Antigen – £109;
    • Antibody – £99.
  • How do I pay?

    You may pay for Products using a debit or credit card. This includes MasterCard, American Express, Visa Electron, Switch, Solo, Maestro or JCB. We also accept payment via PayPal and Amazon Pay.

  • My Certificate has the incorrect name/ gender/ passport number/ date of birth etc.
